Foxconn Advances $569M AI Expansion in Wisconsin with State Support
Foxconn has secured regulatory approval for a $569 million investment to expand its AI server production in Wisconsin. The Taiwan-based electronics manufacturer plans to bolster U.S. supply chains and create 1,374 jobs by 2030, significantly increasing its workforce in the state.
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has approved up to $16 million in tax credits to support the project. Foxconn's Racine County facility will focus on meeting surging demand for AI data infrastructure, with Chief Product Officer Jerry Hsiao emphasizing the company's commitment to scaling operations in line with market needs.
